CPSC Issues SNPR to Amend Certificates of Compliance (eFiling)

Dec. 13 2023

On Friday, December 8, 2023, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a Supplemental Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (SNPR) to amend 16 CFR 1110, Certificates of Compliance.

Public comment period is open until February 6, 2024.

eFiling is the CPSC’s modern approach for filing certificate of compliance data. This initiative enables importers to electronically file the data elements required from a certificate of compliance electronically with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

For additional information on eFiling, including benefits, how it works and a document library, please refer to CPSC eFiling site: https://www.cpsc.gov/eFiling
